Operation Christmas Child Month

Join us in making a difference somewhere in the world for Jesus Christ. 
Our students will be sponsoring “Operation Christmas Child”, a ministry of Franklin Graham.  The only cost is a shoe box of presents (we have lists of acceptable items) and the requested $7.00 postage to send the box. 
Your shoe box will be sent to a needy child in another nation who needs to
know the love of Christ.  This opens the hearts of children to receive
the message of Christ as well as blessing them in a wonderful way
during the Christmas season.  Please plan on filling a simple shoe box
for the children across the world.  The boxes are due Nov. 23rd which
will be ingathering day.  Pick up a leaflet with a mailing label in the
back of the worship center.

GriefShare has started.  You are welcomed to join us at anytime!

GriefShare will meet at Oak Grove Baptist Church
every Sunday at 5:00 PM

These sessions will run 13 weeks. GriefShare is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of
someone close. It’s a place where you can be around people
who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At GriefShare, you’ll learn valuable information that will help
you through this difficult time in your life.

Since each meeting is self-contained you may join the group
at any time. Church member Carey Reynolds will facilitate
this support group. There is no cost for attending. Please
contact the church with any questions you may have.

Fellowship Church

Begins meeting in the new Premiere Movie Theater in Burleson after Labor Day,  They could use our help
getting started! They need the following:

Portable cribs, new clean rugs (for the babies to
crawl on), microphones, speakers,  CD player, recorder, gates and a trailer for hauling and storing equipment.
