September the 11th we will be having our kick-off party!!!! Come join the fun!! Hot dogs, Watermelon, and FUN!!
We will begin on September 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm!!
OK Awana kids and parents!!! Awana will have a basic training for leaders on August 7th and then the fun begins!!! We will have a Neighborhood outreach on August 22nd from 5pm to 7pm and would like as many Awana kids to help as possible. We will give out fliers about Awana and Oak Grove to the surrounding neighborhoods. Mark you calendars also for September 11th to attend the 2010 Awana Kick-off and Pre-registration night at the ROC. We will have hot dogs, watermelon and lots of fun!!! Then the first Awana club meeting will begin on September 12th!!! Watch your bulletins for information and pre-registration forms. FALL KICK-OFF Children’s Choir, RA’s, GA’s and Mission Friends Wednesday September 8th 6:30-8:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall
Children’s Choir is for children ages 4 years old to 5th grade Girls in Action is for girls 1st—5th grade Royal Ambassadors is for boys 1st –5th grade Mission Friends is for girls and boys ages 4 and 5
In our Wednesday evening children’s mission organization children will be introduces to a new missionary each month and learn how missionaries share the gospel of Christ around the world.
PROMOTION SUNDAY IS SEPTEMBER 5 We are looking to fill a few spots with new teachers in the preschool/children’s Sunday School for the new year. Perhaps the Lord is leading you to teach our children. Please see Billie Cate for more information. We will have a training time on Oct 9 with Diane Lane who is a Preschool/Children’s Specialist at the Baptist Convention of Texas. |
