We are a body of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ.  As a Southern Baptist Church, we join likeminded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.

     Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at our church we desire to do the same.  That is why you will discover here ministries geared to various life stages and needs.  That is why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together,
and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.

Pastor
Steve Beckwith

Pastor Steve was born and raised in Burleson as was his wife, Carey. 

Steve is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas

and has a Master's Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological

Seminary.  Steve pastored 3 other churches before coming to

Oak Grove in May of 2002.

   He sees his number one priority as Pastor at Oak Grove

to preach and teach the word of God.

Music/Youth

Minister
Rick Eubanks

 Rick Eubanks joined the Oak Grove staff in May of 2007.

   For over thirty-seven years, Rick has served in the areas of music,

youth, and discipleship ministries.  As he served the Lord in Texas he

enjoyed being part of the beginning of "See You at the Pole".

   Rick is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University and Southwestern

Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is married to Carol who is a musician, vocalist and voice instructor.  Together they have two daughters

who are also serving the Lord in Worship Ministry.

   Rick is deeply committed to the National Network of Youth Ministries, dedicated to working alongside of as many evangelical groups as

possible to produce lifestyle worshipers and lifelong disciples.  

Church Secretary
Linda Henderson

Linda has lived in Burleson since 1985 and joined Oak Grove in

March of the following year.  She has been secretary at Oak Grove

since 2000 and has the honor of being the first secretary Oak Grove

has ever had. Serving at Oak Grove in several capacities

keeps Linda very busy. 

   She and her husband, Bob, are proud of their

2 daughters and one granddaughter.

Church Secretary
Debra Johnson

Debra joined the Oak Grove staff in 2005.  She is not new to us though,
she has been a member of Oak Grove since 1996.  With Debra on
staff now, there is always a secretary available to help the staff
with their needs. Debra and Bill were married in 1976 and have
two sons and one daughter-in-law.
